Hello again.
My name
is Brad Wrightson and I have been drawing seriously
now for about 18 years, but I always seemed to have
a talent for art for as long as I can remember.
I was born in
Albany, Western Australia and 'mainly' grew up in a
small town called Denmark, on the far south coast of
Western Australia..
As a child, I
occasionally travelled throughout Australia with my
parents and grandparents, who had a travelling country
music show, 'The Rick and Thel Carey Travelling Road
Show'. Now I live just outside of Tamworth in New South
Wales, Australia..
To help me refine
my talent for drawing, I attended a TAFE college here
in Tamworth in the early 90's. I completed a 1year Certificate
of Design and then moved into a 2yearAssociate Diploma
of Fine Arts. After the completion of the Associate
Dip, I started the 1year Diploma of Fine Arts, but I
was unable to finish the year due to some unfortunate
events that occurred during that year. I then went back
to West. Aus. for a couple of years and submerged myself
completely into my art.
After that, I
returned to Tamworth, New South Wales, where I have
now been for several years, working as a successful
artist on and offline, a webdesigner and as a musician
for hire. I have 5 acres of dirt, and live here with
my better half, Christine. We also have 4 dogs, 1 goat,
and a cat...and last but not least, our beautiful little
boy, Ashley. Its a lot of fun.
